On Tuesday, 15 July 2025, the Scotland Contact Centre Forum (SCCF) officially launched at Motability Operations in Edinburgh, marking a significant milestone for the contact centre industry in Scotland.
The inaugural event brought together contact centre leaders, managers and professionals from across the region for a morning of insight, networking and collaboration. As the only dedicated regional forum for Scotland’s contact centre sector, the SCCF aims to unite and support the country’s vibrant and diverse contact centre community.
Attendees heard from leading voices in the industry, including Carinna McMillan (Clear Business, Glasgow), Katy Forsyth (Red Contact Centre Recruitment), and representatives from Motability Operations, who explored the importance of regional collaboration, the benefits of sharing best practice, and the unique challenges facing the sector today. The agenda also included a presentation of the latest regional data on salaries, attraction and attrition.
The SCCF builds on the success of regional forums already established in the North and South West of England, and promises to offer Scottish members access to valuable insights, peer support and future-focused events. The forum’s mission is to drive excellence, innovation and resilience across Scotland’s contact centres.
The event closed with an invitation to become a founding member of the SCCF. Membership options were introduced on the day, and attendees were encouraged to take an active role in shaping the forum’s future.
With Scotland home to the largest contact centre workforce in the UK, contributing over £3.2 billion annually to the economy, the SCCF is set to become an essential hub for connection and progress in the sector.
